Different people arrive with different concerns, questions and goals. I offer several forms of therapeutic support so you can explore the option that most closely reflects what you are experiencing, without having to decide everything before making contact.
Individual sessions give you private time to explore personal concerns, difficult emotions or periods of uncertainty at your own pace. This may be suitable if you are experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, bereavement, relationship difficulties or significant changes in your life. You do not need to have everything clearly defined before arranging an appointment.
Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to explore feelings, experiences and recurring patterns in greater depth. It may be appropriate when difficulties have been present for some time, or when you want to understand how earlier experiences may continue to influence your thoughts, relationships or responses in the present.
I offer couples and relationship therapy in a calm, balanced setting where both partners can speak openly about what is happening between them. Sessions may be helpful when communication has become difficult, the same disagreements keep returning, trust has been affected or you feel emotionally disconnected. My role is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to help you understand patterns and support clearer communication.
I provide clinical supervision for practising therapists who want a professional and reflective space to consider client work, ethical questions, professional development and the impact of therapeutic practice. I hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision and am qualified to provide this professional support.
I also offer online appointments as a flexible alternative when travelling to my practice is difficult or you feel more comfortable speaking from your own environment. Video sessions allow me to work with people beyond the immediate East Lincolnshire area, including established clients who are no longer local.
A helpful therapeutic relationship depends on more than choosing a particular type of therapy. Feeling comfortable enough to speak honestly, ask questions and explore difficult experiences can be just as important.
My approach is warm, supportive and non-pressuring. Rather than asking you to commit to a long course of sessions immediately, I encourage you to begin with an initial appointment so you can experience the process and decide whether working together feels right.
I work with adults aged 18 and over, including individuals, couples and older adults. When I relocated, a substantial proportion of my established face-to-face clients chose to continue working with me online, reflecting the importance of the therapeutic relationships I had built with them.
My professional background provides clear reassurance about the training behind the support I offer.
I hold a combined degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision and membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked in private practice since 2019 and support both clients and fellow practitioners.
